Away Travel

Due to the supporters minibus being driver-less for the remaining away matches the club have agreed to a request to allow a number of supporters to travel on the team coach.

Bookings are now being taken for the final away match of the season at Bashley on Saturday 19th April. The coach will leave Cossham Street for at 10.45am and will depart after the match at 6.00pm, the cost of travel is £10.00 and is payable on matchday.

This season a sixteen seater 'supporters minibus' is available for travel to Mangotsfield United away fixtures. The cost of a seat on the minibus will be £10.00, this applies to all fixtures.

The minibus will depart Cossham Street between 9.00am and midday depending upon the fixture and will leave after the match at 5.15pm to ensure a return at a reasonable time. On the longer trips the minibus will usually stop at a service station for a break of fifteen minutes on both the outward and return journeys.

The booking process will be on a "first come first served" basis with payment required a minimum of a week in advance of the day of travel. Those interested in reserving a seat on the minibus should contact Danny West on 07766118384 or e mail danwestmufc@hotmail.com.

There isn't any away travel for the remaining away fixtures (unless a driver can be found).

From Salisbury - Take the A338 to Ringwood, then take the B3347 towards Christchurch. Just before Christchurch you will come to a large roundabout (just after going under a railway bridge); turn left onto the A35 towards Southampton. About 6 miles from Christchurch turn right onto the B3058 towards New Milton. Once on the B3058 bear right at the Rising Sun Public House, you will soon come into Bashley village. The ground is on the left shortly after the Esso petrol station.

From Southampton - Take the A35 towards Bournemouth; continue through Lyndhurst towards Christchurch. Turn left onto the B3058 towards New Milton. Once on the B3058 bear right at the Rising Sun Public House, you will soon come into Bashley village. The ground is on the left shortly after the Esso petrol station.

Distance - 88.3 miles

Travelling time - 2 hours 23 minutes (based on 30 miles an hour on A roads and 60 miles an hour on motorways)
